Get Down and Dirty with SQL Server Profiler

Presented by: Joe Lax of DB Directions

Ever felt that your SQL Server instance was trying to hide something from you? You know it's busy doing something, but it won’t tell you what. And your users are complaining about poor response...

If only there was a tool you could use to find out just what was going on?  Well there is! You can use the SQL Server Profiler tool to learn anything and everything you want to know about what's going on behind the scenes in SQL Server..

You'll learn how to:

  • Use Profiler safely without impacting your system
  • Spot offending queries
  • Diagnose deadlocks and blocking issues
  • Spot bugs in SQL code!

You can learn about SQL Server Profiler here.
